United States agency responsible for acquiring and recording population information chose Column's Case Management Solution
Downers Grove, IL, February 24, 2011 – Column Technologies, a global solutions and software provider, today announced that a United States agency responsible for acquiring and recording population information chose Column's Case Management Solution to improve operation efficiencies.
This US agency responsible for the primary source of basic statistics about the population and economy of the Nation. These statistics assist the Congress, the executive branch of the Federal Government, state and local governments, the public, and the private sector in the development and evaluation of social and economic activities. Major programs include periodic censuses, current surveys, and a wide range of reimbursable work for other agencies. The programs cover a broad spectrum of demographic and economic statistics.
The project's goal is to provide a centralized field incident management application to record, track, manage and report on field incidents and disruptions to agency employees and contractors in their data collection process. The Column application will help ensure field safety, assist in IT security events, and breaches of data integrity.
The US agency chose the Column Case Management Solution because it allowed them to leverage their existing BMC Remedy ARS platform investment.
Within the United States, Column Case Management is widely used within Law Enforcement, Inspectors General, and Regulatory agencies.
